First time at the track with my new car

Hey guys. Tonight was the first time at the track with my new car.

Its an 01 auto SS with a cai. I was runnin on bald radials

First run was with traction control on(forgot to turn it off) and my buddy was with me. I ran a 13.67 at 102.

Second run I was alone with traction control off. I ran a 13.39 at 105. I had a 2.19 60 foot time. I figure this isnt too bad for my first time at the track. I need good tires.

I had a great time. I am looking forward to doing it again soon.

Get some drag radials. You'll be in the 12s if you can cut a 1.90 60'.

my buddy has a set of drag radials but this was spur of the moment and I couldnt get a hold of him. Ill try them next time and see what I do. Hoping to get into the 12s with a converter also

With headers, a converter and drag radials I could see you running 110+ traps and well into the 12's. Sounds like you have a strong car.
