I don't mean to be a dick but search. Look for threads on launching auto's and other people's first times. If you want to make you car run it's best: drop some air out of the rear tires down to 26-29psi, drop your front sway bar, take out the seats, jack and spare. (takes 15 min) and run your car on 1/4 of a tank of gas. if your not cutting good 60ft's (2.1) try something different off the line. The only way your going to be a better drag racer is to gain more experience. good luck

Walk up and watch some of the obviously experienced guys and how they go about the process. Always keep an eye on the guy running the 2 lanes/lights. He'll direct ya up to the water box, give you the signal to heat the tires and then slowly roll up to the staging beams. SLOWLY Light the 2 top bulbs and wait for green.

Weeee... Watch other street tire cars and their technique. Goodluck.

Oh yeah..GET OUT OF THE THROTTLE IF YOU GET SIDEWAYS OR ARE SPINNING THE TIRES MORE THAN 10 FEET. AND DON'T FORGET TO GET ON THE BRAKES TO SLOW DOWN ASAP. Don't want to end up in the gravel pit or catch netting do ya?

Haha, our 1/4 doesn't have a catch.
Make sure your brakes are in working order before you go.

Check your battery tie down before you go. Some tracks don't care, some are ****.
