Talking !!First time out in the Trans Am!!

Took the car to Atco for the first time last night. Only got in 2 runs, the gamblers races took forever. Here are the results. I pretty pleased considering the mods I have and being it was my first time running the car.

1st run:

R/T-.591
60ft- 2.058
1/4- 13.767
MPH-100.40

2nd run:

R/T- .657
60ft- 2.063
1/4- 13.673
MPH- 101.16

I was getting really good traction on the launch. I know I could launch a little higher next time. maybe get into the low 13's

Hey, I'm usually at Atco 4-5 times a month. What color's your T/A? Those are pretty good times. Gotta love that track though, it's extremely sticky!!

Thanks guys. I drive a red T/A with t tops and no front license plate. (jersey plates, err, plate ) The track was VERY sticky on Tuesday, just wish I could have gotten more runs in. Maybe I'll see you there one of these days, Fastbird93!

Probably so, I'm itching to get back and see if I can make those 12's.

Is Atco really that much quicker? In comparable conditions between Atco last fall and Sacramento Speedway and Sears Point the fall of 00', my car ran almost the exact same times between the three. Maybe Atco just tends to be cooler at times?

I've heard that Atco is a bit faster than some other tracks in the area. I believe its at, or a few feet above sea level. I go mainly because it's 10 minutes from my house, though.

Cool

Nice times for the mods that you have. Now just get yourself a stall...but then you'll need some ET streets to hook-up. The grin factor is really worth it though.
