finally got a DECENT timeslip

well i been struggling to get a slightly slow LS1 up to par....with ony a lid and a catback it ran a miserable 13.7 at 103 with a 2.2 60 foot time (granted weather and track prep sucked but thats still SLOW)....i did the 3400 converter, 3.23 gears, nittos and LCAs and came up with the following.....

60 foot = 1.78 seconds
1/8th mile = 8.21 seconds
1/4 mile = 12.96 seconds
trap speed = 102.5 mph <<<<

is my car down on power????im really happy to shave more than 7 tenths off without adding ANY power but shouldnt a high 12 second pass trap a bit higher????

You didn't do any mods to gain power. What you did do was get the power you were making to the ground thus netting you a killer et w/ the same mph. Congrats man! Time for heads/cam :-).

Nice Improvement.....I think the other dude is right...I would start looking for a good heads and cam combo or just get a cam and some tuning....but still those are some great times.
