Fastest NA LT1's

Just looking for a list of the fast NA LT1's. They do have to have LT1 type heads, block and basic engine setup. I would rather only efi cars.
Just trying to fine out what kind of number NA cars are running.

I know of Joe O and Steve Q. Who else is running strong.

THanks

Ken

There's a '93 Z by STL running bottom 10s w/ factory castings, factory breadbox intake and full interior (it's even got a back seat!).

If you're looking in all Lt1 Na I might mention Sammy Vedros 1st gen 396LT1 Na. He's run 9.49 139.80 with an automatic and 10.47 125 missing 3rd with a stick. Frank95z

I believe Vince McCauley (aka spraytheway on here) went 9.7x n/a w/ his nitrous motor like 3 years ago. He's since gone a best of 9.0 on the juice but that was w/ traction problems. The LT1 record will soon fall.

For 6spd NA cars, Mindgame has one stout ride. 9.8@138 in a full weight street car. He has the power to be one of the very fastest NA LT1 cars if it was an auto....but M6 is more fun

I read alot about stock elim cars but I have never seen a LT1 stock elim car go 10.00's. I have seen LS1 cars. Al Corda went 9.979 in his last season. Are you sure it has a LT1 and not a LS1.
I know about Frank's car. He was the only one that I knew about that was faster than me. When I had just a cam in my car it went 11.80 @ 112. That was at 2700'. I always wondered what it would have done at NO PROBLEM. They get some great air to run in down there. Oh well

The current NHRA National records are,

http://www.nhra.com/stats/stk_record.html

The B/FI, C/FI, B/FIA, and C/FIA are LT1 cars (not 100% sure on the B/FI Corvette because it could possibly be an LT4. I know that Woodro was building one last year for somebody).

Best Regards,

Daren

yes, its an LT1 in a '97 Formula S/S car, very bad *** ride!
stock throttle body and cam lift, LT1 block and heads, sheetmetal intake, 12bolt 10.oh's at low 130's
hes on this board, just doesnt post very much

Jimmy Hidalgos cars (2 '97 anniversary Z28's) when i saw them at GIR were running low 11's that night, they are what got me interested in finding out about the stock elim LT1's
