ET help

So the best I have been able to muster this season is a 13.7 E.T. with my best trap speed being 104.3. I need help getting my ET down without resorting to sticky tires. The best sixt foot I've had is a 2.29 on Kuhmo 17 inch street tires. I put the psi around 24-25 in the rears, and I launch between 1000 and 1500 RPM. It doesn't feel like the car is burning out much off the line, but I am having a lot of trouble getting that 60 ft lower. How much should I slip the clutch? What should it feel like when I'm leaving the line if I'm slipping the clutch to much? I just need some help here. I was worried that my car was way off in ET until I saw three seperate LS1 Trans Ams run at my track. One ran a 14.3, another 14.1, and the last was a 13.9. So my car is on track with the others, but it does have a few mods so I need some help here guys. I would like to hit a low 13 this season. Thanks for any suggestions.

Re: ET help

Drag Radials and go to the track on a day when people with slicks are running (usually not street nights). That will help you establish a baseline. Without a baseline you really are not able to figure out what to fdo next. Sure we can all guess and some of the folks who have been around awhile are pretty good guessers, but having traction will provide a concerete starting point for tuning and further modification.
