Driveshaft length for TH400/Moser 12
Driveshaft length for TH400/Moser 12
Anyone have the length handy?
Also, I have the driveshaft I used last year w/ the 4L60E/Moser combo. I know I'll need a new slip yoke, but I'm wondering how much different the lengths are?
Thanks

You may want to measure what your requirments are. Here's a good measuring diagram if your not sure what to look for;

I saw the diagrams on Denny's site. The problem is that the tranny is sitting on one side of the garage and the rear end is still in the car. :\
I wanted to get the driveshaft ordered now, but I guess I'll have to wait until the motor/tranny is back in the car. Crap.

I would say be sure and measure. I have a Moser with a M6 and use the stock 1le driveshaft. I went with a Turbo 400 and went with Spohn's driveshaft for the Trubo 400. Was 1.5 inches too long. Checked the driveshaft with another and the driveshaft from Spohn was correct. ?????????? Some people have to go to a shorter driveshaft with the Moser, some don't. I don't know why the stock driveshaft "fit" with the stick and didn't fit with the auto. I had the new Spohn driveshaft cut and rebalanced.
