Custom sub-frame ???

Im building a 79 camaro, and Im trying to lighten it as much as possible. I have seen people use subframes from modifieds, but they dont give you much ground clearance. Im planning on going 9's, anyone have any info on them or tips on how to build one?

The first and second gen f-bodies use a simple bolt on subframe. 4 bolts hold the subframe to the main body.

Look in any chassis catalog. There are a lot of kits available that allow you to install a nice tubular front sub frame. Any good chassis builder could custom build one for you.
