Could a fat sway bar hurt my hook?

Just wondering if a fatter sway bar could affect 60 foot times more than a stock one?
I had the 1LE 32 mm sway bar on my car from when I was trying to carve corners and since I removed it the car hooks much better, I mean ALOT better.
Does removing the sway bar make that much difference or was that fat old sway bar to blame?

When you take weight off the front you get better weight transfer to the back on top of the wheels.

have you compared 60' times?

the weight will help and with no swaybar the front end will rise faster. the fatter bar probably kept the front end way down and affected 60's also.

I am going to try to get out to the track again and see what it will do with the new fuel pump and no sway bar.

Getting rid of that sway bar helped alot though.
