Convo Pros

I installed new Convo Pros on the front of my 1999 Camaro last night. I had to grind the calipers to get them to fit. On my 1995 Firebird I did not have to do any grinding (until I switched to Welds).

Just thought that some of you would like to know.

That's the same size that I have on my 01, and they fit with no problems, and no grinding. They also fit on a friends 99 TA with no problems.

Did you use spacers? Maybe the calipers are different, my Camaro started it's life as a V-6 car.

I have now installed my rears, and had no problems with them.

Brake pad thickness can also effect them my Frt Bogarts fit fine until new pads were Installed and then I needed to add a spacer to clear the caliper

I have 15x4/15x8 CP's on my 95 TA and had 0 grinding. I put the fronts on a friend's '00 Hawk and they hit. He got about 10' in the parking lot and we knocked them off and went back to his stockers. We kinda chalked it up to the 'hawks having bigger brakes than the average LS1.

At least I've lost about 2 oz. of dead weight on the front wheels.
