comps 306 cam how much HP
Can anyone tell me how much HP this cam should make and what kind of times are you guys running at the strip with what kind of parts are you using??

306 will give ya close to 40 hp and drop your times a good 3-4 tenths..depending on set up

You really need to look at some other mods first. With a 306 you are going to want at a minimum LT's, gears and a tune. Also if you have stock heads you will definately need a 6spd.

I do plan on adding other stuff (headers, gears, convert, prog, ect.) with the cam but was wondering what was working for other people

i dynoed 390 and 356 with the 306 cam and ARE heads. this was through a 9 inch rear end.

best run was a 11.98 @ 115 with it missing at the top end.
