Went out to NPR tonight.Weather was good for running fast. Temp 50,humidity 70% and Baro 30.31 DA was -819ft. Car is a street car Na stockhead Cam only LT1. I ran 11.163 at 119.86 with a 1.49 shorttime. 1/8 mile was 7.05 at 96.00. Runs were made on DOT tires. Weight was 3345 with me in it. Holly molly, are you kidding me? That is very impressive. It's nice to hear about guys that have more into their cars than you and are cutting some great times, but then to see your times and how you did it is really something to be proud of.

Too Fast

It sounds like you have some help to achieve those mph's. Like a little laughing gas. Get real. Unless your car is a NHRA stocker(drag only), you are way to fast for ANY STOCK HEAD LT1 NA. Just my oppinion.

Im surprised...because to get those kinda numbers means that the cam was most likely not a mid-range cam...especially looking at the mph numbers.

What surprises me even more about THAT is the crank bearings are still doing fine with that and all.

How'd you go about setting it up to handle that?

Thanks guys 93SS never had spray on car and its not a NHRA stocker. Jamon I run 3.73 gears with a 27 1/2 tire so i really don't turn a lot of RPM's. I shift at 6200. Hope you don't jinx me but the bearings are the ones installed by GM 75,000 miles ago. Frank95z

Nice times, looks like you have a good working setup. That 60 ft. will get it done.

Awesome driving. I was jus surprised running on the stock crank bearings...i hear they are iffy on the lt1's. That's the root of a lot of lt1 problems past 6K rpm.

Congrats on getting a SOLID motor from the factory. And Good job gettin those rep points for the lt1. Job well done.

i wish my converter would let me 60' that well!
so far mine has gone a 7.19@96 in the 1/8 with a 1.55 60'.

my engine has 140,000 miles on it, diy heads, and it has a 230/236 cam.
