better 60ft?

How can i get my 60ft times down?I was on m/t et streets with 11lbs when i ran the time in my sig.I tryed different rpms from 4000-5500 with the same out come still spinning.Maybe i need to go to huntsville(better track)but all the money i put in this car im still running the same times as i did on stock rear and stock suspension. If i got my 60ft times down to 1.5 what should i be running?

Are you keeping track of any changes you make to the suspension? How old are the tires? Pinion angle? Ever have the car scaled? Air bag for the right rear? What hole on the relocation brackets?

Bottom hole on the brackets, done all the suspension at the same time, car weighs about 3850 with me in it, tires were bought last may and there not radials there true streets. I dont have a air bag because this is my dd, i cant remember what the pinion angle is seems like 3-4.

Are you heating them up in the burnout box? How long? Are others at the track getting good launches?

I would definitely go up on the tire psi! Fourth gen camaros have a pretty good suspension stock, but stick cars are hard to launch. Mine was a six speed and it was tough to get good 60fts. I would try about 14-15 psi to start with and see how that works.

I ve been to a better track(huntsville dragway) last year but i didnt get a chance this year to make it. I started at 20lbs and went down on air pressure till i got to 11lbs talk about a scary pass. I hit the burnout box and heated the tires properly. I think its just the sh1tty track i was at.If i was to hook what do you think ill run?

How do you launch the car?

What rpm does the n2o start?

With you car hooking it could run well or very well. It all depends on how much you can chop off that 60ft. I would also try going to the other track, you never know.

Lighten that thing up.
add air to the tires, bet they are folding with that much weight and do you know if they are turning on the rim?
Make sure the pinion angle is -3ish
Then you will have to think about weight transfer, got any vidz or pix of the car leaving?
and air bag would be the best option for a DD OR a larger sway bar with poly end links, not the solid end links for the DD.

I got a msd window switch set at 3500-6200 with the full throttle switch.Ive left beween 3800-5500 and I dont side step the clutch but I let it go quick.Ive got vidieo of the car leavin it pulls the front up pretty far, looks like the tires would come off if it would hook. I know the car is heavy with the subframes, rearend, two batterys, and full leather interior, but i dont want to gut my only means of transportation. Is 7.40s possible if i could get it to hook?

why 2 battories? huh? i had best luck w/my et streetes @ 18-20psi. but apples to oranges stick-auto.

my guess if you got a 1.55 60 youd be bout 7.5 run. bigger diff. @ 1/4mi track.

so the two batt.s are temporary? still dont understand what made you put two batt.s in? so you got one in teh stock location, and one in the trunk area? what is wrong with the one in the trunk? cranks too slow? what size cable do you have? if you've given up on the batt. in the trunk, why not take it out? just curious. I have 2 ga. in my 95Z and once in a while it just clicks when I go to crank it, next turn of the key it works fine. the 2ga wire I got is that cheap trunk mount kit from taylor tha summit sells. the cable is crap. my other car I have a 00ga welding cable in there. its extremely flexible because it has finer strands of wire and that also makes it a better conductor. never any cranking issues with that setup. my 95's goin back to somewhat stock compared to where it was anyways and Im putting the batt. back in the stock location. thats the only reason I never got around to replacing the cable in that car with the welding cable. any welding supply store sells it by the foot. $2X dollars for the cable so its pretty cheap.
