Best 60' with 17" tires

Whover is running 17" wheels, post your best 60' times and tell what tires you are running. Im debating on whether to keep mine or scrap for 15".

Thanks,
Nick

I know of people running in the 1.6 range to 60' with the M/T radials in the 17s, but you really need more sidewall...I switched to 16x8 stockers and 255 50 R16 M/T radials and 60' in the mid 1.5s. You can get the 16x8s for very cheap, then add the 255 M/Ts and amaze your friends...

I find humor in this question. It seems to me to be a question of function over fashion. I often wonder when I see a car being built why a tire with no sidewall is used. I can only assume that people are after a look and not performance. You can't hook with out the side wall. The look that people want, the 20 inch bling bling look doesnt work when it comes to putting power to the pavement. What good is tq and hp if you can't get it to hook?
