Anyone else in the north physically sick from not racing?
I am seriously physically ill from not racing. I've been fighting a bug for the last month and I'm pretty sure the cure is drag racing! Am I nuts?
I fired my car up yesterday and made a bunch of noise. I did some changes and the engine hasn't been fired up since last October. Burned off a couple of gallons of fuel setting the tune.
If the weather co-operates, I should be on track near the end of May. Only 3 months to go! We only get a 4-5 month race season so there's lots of down time for changes.

i am going to be running street at NED this season... and i havent even started on working on my new setup yet... car is just sitting in my garage at home on jackstands while im out in western mass at college... spring break im gonna start on pulling the tranny... i cant wait to fire her up and test out the new setup goin up my street... anyone running points at NED too?
My first race for the '08 season is on March 8. I'm running a street car this year so no need to make any changes. I need to install a safety loop and throw on the drag radials. I have 30 runs on the car so It's already set up for the tree. I'm already signed up for points and have been hitting the practice tree for the past 3 weeks. Yea I can't wait.
I had the doc do a drivers mod over winter. 2" of cartilage removed from my right knee. Should improve my RT by .200
