Anyone else in the north physically sick from not racing?

I am seriously physically ill from not racing. I've been fighting a bug for the last month and I'm pretty sure the cure is drag racing! Am I nuts?

I fired my car up yesterday and made a bunch of noise. I did some changes and the engine hasn't been fired up since last October. Burned off a couple of gallons of fuel setting the tune.

If the weather co-operates, I should be on track near the end of May. Only 3 months to go! We only get a 4-5 month race season so there's lots of down time for changes.

My first race for the '08 season is on March 8. I'm running a street car this year so no need to make any changes. I need to install a safety loop and throw on the drag radials. I have 30 runs on the car so It's already set up for the tree. I'm already signed up for points and have been hitting the practice tree for the past 3 weeks. Yea I can't wait.

It's sad because everyone elses race season is about to begin, and our weather is starting to get hot. Our good weather/racing time is very short.

I wonder if my Doc will write me a prescription for tha new automatic with stall, and maybe even a 383 freshening.... Hmmmmm. I'd like to see the feedback from the insurance company.

I had the doc do a drivers mod over winter. 2" of cartilage removed from my right knee. Should improve my RT by .200

I got lasik surgery this winter, I hope this helps me. I figured I better invest in the most important part of the car (me).
