All cam only LT1 guys post your times and mods here...
there must be something wrong with ur track then
cuz i refuse to believe that an auto car with a 210 218 cam runs 114 mph on stock UNPORTED heads.. that cam is like an oversized STOCK cam .. its way smaller than the hotcam ...
sorry man ... it just doesnt make any sense

Sideways....... Look at his race wt. With him in it 3440 is very light for a LT1 car. My car last time I weighed it was 3700 with me in it. I ran what is in my sig & know it will run a 12.2 as is with better traction.... I totally believe that his car runs that. It is very light. There is a local girl around my area that ran a 11.79 @ 113 in a bolton LS1 (A4) Her car weighs 3400 & has less HP than me. Dynoed together... So I totally believe Franks times. Pounds baby............
Sideways sorry you don't believe me but I don't run a 210/218. I run the Crane 210/224 510/552 lift with 112 centerline. Track just hosted a NHRA points meet and was certified. Track is at sealevel and well prepared. Just look at some of the times this weekend from the Thundershootout held there. Times are with open headers. Frank95z

93lt1 nice times. Do you have a rollbar that works with your rear seats? My bottoms fit but the top part of the rear seat had to bend down so I took them out. I still have a/c, power steering, air bags, bumper supports so I have a ways to go before I'm satisfied.I think 11.40's are possible with stockheads. Frank95z

to you .. im trapping near 116 with heads and a bigger cam and im still stuck in the 12s

i think its time for a tranny transplant and more weight loss
did u ever dyno ur car .. according to a calculator that i find very accurate u should dyno 344 RWHP
and then again .. if my car weighted 3400 with me in it i would've trapped 118 with my setup (According to that calc) .. so i guess ur not too far off .. u got a good weight advantage .. i just never thought mid 11s was possibly on a pinner cam
ps. can u give me a quick rundown of what weight reduction steps uve been thru ?? thanx
My car is a 95 model with cloth seats, when trying for fast times,no rear seats,no passenger seat, insulation removed from carpet, light weight front and rear wheels,no exhaust except header mufflers, front and rear swaybar removed, less than 1/4 tank gas,no spare or jack. Scales will be calibrated this weekend and I'll get an accurate weight. Car has never been dynoed I don't care to know. Frank95z
Frank, just curious, but why don't you care to dyno? I know you could use a wideband to tune, or simply read the plugs. Then again, that is a PITA in an LT1 F-body, to take the plugs out after every run. Also, how do you know your tune is just right? You might be able to pick up some hp or tq from timing. As far as I know, besides a dyno, your only way to tune is at the track, which is not as consistent as a dyno. You don't think you will dyno tune it in your quest for 11.40s on the stock heads? Anywho, those are some awesome times for the mods!
I've run some diacom runs and recorded data. Program I'm running is something that Geoff Skinner and I put together its a mixture of tuning I was running in past ,with different shift points, rev limit. When I've run diacom runs at track o2's were fine and BLMs good and no timing retard, egr turned off ,and Obd2 transmission tables. I'm scared that if I dyno car and find out I'm makeing 275 hp that car will slow back down to 13's

No tuning done on the fly. What I'm saying is that with the current program I run about 880 milivolts towards end of 1/4 so I don't believe i'm running to lean. Car has good driveability and I've run several cars with similar mods that have been dyno tuned and I hold my on if you know what I mean. I've talked to guys who dynoed, had tuning ,and slowed down even though dyno showed gains. I will say i'm not running stock tuning but i've never had a dyno session ok. Frank95z
If you are going to tune with a dyno--it should be a load-based dyno (like a Mustang dyno).
Dynojet's are not appropriate for tuning, IMO--I think this is where a lot of people go wrong. And even if you use a Mustang dyno, real 1/4 mile testing should be part of your final tuning.
There is just no substitute for real world testing.

Good luck in the future
Thanks, your rollbar setup looks very neat. I went to the tnt tonight for the thundershootout tommorrow and got a chance to weigh car. I still have bumper supports, airbags,ac and power steering car weighed 3412 with me in it. I weigh right at 200. It was cool but humid . I ran 11.67 114.32 tonight with a 1.53 short. I'm currently running tires that are to large. I'm running 3.73 gears and 27x11.5x15 Hossiers. With removing the extra weight and the right tires I still believe 11.40's are possible. But having fun trying anyway. Frank95z
