88notch
Anyone wanna take a guess what a 88 notch thats been stripped pretty hard 8 point bar,Upper and lower control arms,3.73's,Subframes,Bcam,GT40 intake with 80mm TB,headers and its a 5speed.Any guess what this car might run?
Re: 88notch
I had a friend with a similar car except probably a little lighter. The engine was stock 302 shortblock, Holley system max kit:heads/cam, headers, 4.30's and 26x10 ET drags. He ran 11.90's@112mph N/A on a good day and 11.00's@121mph on 175HP NX and the gear was too low for n2o and the stock ECM. later Clint
Re: 88notch
In my mustang experiences, for every good running mustang combo there are 10 heads/cam/intake cars that can't get out of the 13's. I say get to the track and get a baseline.
Also 3050 is pretty heavy for a stripped Notch.

Depending on your driving skills, the fact that it's presumably on stock tires puts it anywhere in the 13-15 second range. Best way to find out is to make some passes with it. We all gotta start out somewhere.
Re: 88notch
Is the T5 stock? Slick tires will be hard on it. The old LX I ran had about 30 passes on it (10 on the track 20+ on the street) with a 28"x10.5 ET STreet throwing anywhere from a 200 to a 275-shot at it. The transmission chattered so bad, it sounded like I had rocks under my seat.
Best of luck. The Fox-body cars are easy to make fast, especially when you can run a 200-shot on the factory motor all day long.
