394 rwhp and only 12.6 ???
Wow, all these replies. And they mostly point to the trans and some to the pcm (pulling timing).
I am in the same boat...
I say this because I am having similar probs with my chevelle.
She has at least 450 HP at the crank and the trans is a stock TH350 with a 10" 3000 stall. I haven't been able to get better than 1.89 60ft and 13.1 @ 106 mph. With my combo, I should be running 1.7 60 ft and 12.3 - 12.6 @ 112 - 115 mph.
I know feel that my trans is the culpret along with possible fuel starvation also.
I hope you get your problem fixed!
I would get the pcm analyzed while making a 1/4 run and if it shows nothing wrong, then have that trans/converter checked out.

Can you scan the dyno graph for us to look at? Is the 230/236 cam in a stock-cid LS1? If so, that's a lot of cam with very little converter behind it. You said that the converter is only flashing 3,000 RPM. Something is wrong because a Vig 2800 will stall 3100 behind a stock LS1, a Vig 3200 will flash 3800, and a Vig 3600 will flash 4200. I've tried them all.
You don't want to know what a Vig 4000 does behind a 383! If you're really only flashing 3,000 RPM, that would at least explain the 60' problem. Also, if the cam is very peaky, it may show great dyno numbers but poor track numbers with the car not setup properly. How was the average horsepower? If this converter is really only stalling 3,000 RPM, you'll be dropping to 4200 or so on the shifts with 3.23:1 gears. That's WAY out of the power range of that cam! Also, was the 394 RWHP with a locked or unlocked converter? If it's locked, the car is most likely doing 370-375 RWHP unlocked. Even then, you're lower than you should be on the MPH. I ran a best of 12.04 @ 111 MPH with 315 RWHP (unlocked Vig 3200), and my raceweight was 3,525#. It's all about the setup.
Feel free to give me a call or shoot me an e-mail; I'll be glad to discuss it with you.
