2003 Events/Racing

What does everyone plan on hitting this year? So far, I've got these events...

March 9, Spring Break Shootout, Seguin, TX
May 8-11, F-Body Motorsports Event, Indianapolis, IN
May 31, North/South Shootout, Bowling Green, KY
May 30-June 5, Hot Rod Power Tour
June 6-8, PRO Race, Bowling Green, KY
July 19-20, PRO Race, Cordova, IL
August 22-24, Trans Am Nationals, Dayton, OH
September 18-21, F-Body Birthday Party, Bowling Green, KY
November 8-9, Southern Shootout, Belle Rose, LA

Then there's stuff like Bristol Bash, NMCA and possibly M8 that don't have a date yet, not to mention some of the little local events.

Two tracks and two points series, but how competitive I will be ultimately will be determined by the sponsors. I keep hearing that there are several "special events" and trade shows that I need to be at and that may make me less competitive this season. Oh well, at least I get to race and make some money.

Due to me job hunting right now, I may not be able to get as much time off as id like (in the event I do find a new job).

As such, Im still planning on making it to the North vs South shootout, Thunder Shootout, and depending on what happens with the NMCA EFI quick 8 shootout, some of their races.

Is the '03 NMCA schedule out yet? I have yet to find one. The local slip-n-slide known as Gateway doesn't list NMCA in their events this year.

Thumbs up

I'll definately make the Southern Shootout... my home track. I'm gonna try my best to hit the North/South Shootout as well in May.

Steve : I'm comming down to bracket race in the North\South Shootout. Should have my Turbo 400 dialed in by then. My porker is on a diet and hope to loose 100 -200 lbs by then. Good-by A/C, sway bars, rear seat, etc. I should be pitted next to RapidMotorSports big red trailer. See ya there.
