2 step

I have a 97 SS M6 that I have put in an MSD. I want to put in a switch to use a two step rev limiter to help with launches. What do you recommend to use for a switch to operate it with a six speed?

Re: 2 step

I have mine on a microswitch on my clutch pedal. When clutch is on the floor the two step is activated. I never hit it between shifts as I don't activate the clutch that far down on normal shifting. Here is a schematic(sp) of how to hook up a clutch activated 2 step with a nitrous setup if anyone is interested. I didn't do it..just hosted it for someone that needed it.

Re: 2 step

Thanks for the info. I might go that way. Do you think it hurts your reaction time if you keep the clutch all the way to the floor until you launch?

Re: 2 step

IF it hurts any I've learned to adjust to it. Plus..I just dump the clutch. That helps alot since I don't have to find the slipping point. I just drop the hammer and let er eat. My reaction times are usually pretty good when I'm trying to get on the tree.
