12.9 @ 111... need some input
12.9 @ 111... need some input
I searched around, didn't have any luck finding this.
Last night I took the Z to the track for the second time since my T56 conversion last year. I'll scan the timeslip later today, but here are the basics:
60': 1.9
1/4 ET: 12.9
1/4 MPH: 111.12
Basic setup: Heads/cam/LT's, Street Twin, 4.10's, Spohn LCA's, PHR, Torque Arm. Borrowed my buddy's Nittos on 16 PSI.
I'm told that the MPH is a bit high for that ET. But I can't find much as far as what MPH should be for a given ET and vice versa. Any links / calculators?
Thanks

Hey pete,
check out this: http://www.fbody.com/calc.htm
I ran your trap speed with your vehicle weight (3500??) and came up with estimated horsepower of 375, which is dead nuts accurate compared to your dyno sheet.
Running that HP figure, the calc says the cars good for 12.31 @ 110.6+
Just more practice with the shifts and you'll get there.
