I changed the lower control arms to help eliminate wheel hop. The springs and shocks are still stock.

Nobody thought you were lying, but having a -2000 DA definitely explains alot.

Also, the LS1 record for bolt-ons is around a 10.80

10.80? Is that a bolt-on or bolt-in? Sounds to me like somebody bolted-in an LS7 or something.

What was done to that car?

I wonder what the LT1 in his sig would run if it were corrected for a -2000 DA?

I wasn't completely serious about the record thing. And I was refering to his MPH, not his ET.

Yeah, 115-116 is pretty much normal for bolt-ons at this time of year at the local tracks. Cam only cars usually hit low 120s, with most H/C cars in the mid 120s.

The MPH doesn't impress me, but the 60' does. 1.86 is good for a 6 speed car with street tires, however it's great when couple with near freezing temps!

It sure sounded like what I posted was in doubt. No biggie either way. I knew my car wasn't any faster than normal. I just happened to be at the right track on the right day. Believe me, numerous personal bests were being set that day.

The bolt-on record is 10.68@122

My best 60' on these tires is a 1.79. I've had a few 1.82s

The lt1 ran those numbers in -1k DA. I'm sure that extra 1k feet might have made a little difference though. The car normally runs 12.0s - 12.teens.

I wasn't serious about it either...unless there is a record for almost full weight, black SSs, with chrome wheels, M6...

No doubt Im impressed with the mph, et, and 60 foot. I ran my 98 m6 at memphis motorsports park in june and it went 12.31 @ 111 with a 1.73 60 and I had drag radials. Only got 2 passes tho due to broke ring gear and I have a stripper car so it only weighs in a 3500 with me in it. My mods are LT's, true duals, ls6 intake, ported TB, slp lid and 4:10 but now has the 3:42's back in it. I also have the monster stage 3 clutch. Very aggressive so slipping it is very hard.
