1/8 th miles times

Hey guys as some of you know i was planning on going to a 1/8th mile track and running my car tonight. Well i as looking online and it seems that i will need a helmet if i run 8.59 or quicker. With all the mods in my sig and the addition of a LS2 intake am i gonna be faster than that? If so where is a good place to get me a helmet for the future?

Thanks
Sully

If you are a seasoned driver.... you can break that barrier.... if you are new to the track I doubt you will need a helmet.

With T-Tops (which you have), or a convertible most tracks require a helmet regardless of the ET (both 1/8 and 1/4 mile tracks). Also, NHRA tech people may require a Snell approved helmet which are available at Jegs or Summit.
