What should my first $500 in suspension go towards to make the car launch? Im guessing LCAs with relocation brackets and a Torque Arm, is that the best thing to do. Will have 350+ at wheels probly around 380, getting 6point rollcage/bar (whatever) installed, and will have nittos, stock rear, and 3.42s. Best brands of stuff to get, I like BMR so far.

Oh and somebody that knows NHRA rules pretty well, the guy thats fabbing the cage wasnt sure about this, will it still be legal for sub 12s if the bar that goes across the back seat right behind the front seats is removable?

 

BMR is a good brand, but for some certian things i prefer other brands. but BMR is a good overall and good priced product

 

Removable cross-bar is not legal, and thus your 6pt rollbar adds no value as far as strict rules go. That doesn't mean you will
always get kicked out, however--that's up to the track.

I still have the stock torque arm.

I would remove the front sway bar, get some drag springs and shocks, maybe an airbag, and start saving for a 12 bolt.
