??? for you pcm pros

Well, first off my car is finally running (not good, but running). We finally installed my new program, but now we have some codes. Let me say the car ran fine before all of this. I have 4 codes showing up now, SES light was on so we checked it with DataMaster. The codes are as follows-
43 ESC Fail
82 Shift solenoid
95 Oil lamp circuit fault
96 Oil level lamp
And the car will only shift to 2 gears-1st and 4th (reverse didn't work either). The car is a 94 Trans Am M6 tranny. So what the heck is wrong with this car?

Any help will be appreciated, thanks
Chris

Also, it now has an idle of 600 RPMs and it used to have a constant 800-850 RPM idle

you didn't upload a auto flash did you?

sounds like the skip shift and reverse lockout are on, the idle could be ok, I noticed mind did the same thing the first few times after I made some major changes, now it's back to around 800.

Did you make the changes in the bin file or did someone send you a file?

What changes did you make?

Oh the 43 is Knock Sensor error

After looking at some things, error 82 is on an AUTO, a 6sd you would get error 84 skip shift circuit. I would check that bin!!

Ok I'm sending you an email about this too.

I was looking and I see one HUGE problem, you say you have a 94 TA, but the VIN in this file is for a 97 Camaro.

This is the VIN in the file

2G1FP22P5V2116899

Which is 3rd digit 1=chevy 2=poncho
5 digit P=camaro S=Firebird V=formula & TA
10 digit V=1997 R=1994

So I'm thinking Bryan send you the wrong file, he did just get out of surgery so the drugs may still be kicking in.

The file is OK. He wouldn't have been able to upload it if it was an OBDII file sent by mistake. The VIN doesn't really affect the programming much.

I figured a generic VIN was used for programming purposes.

That makes more Sense about the vin, why would he use one with a year of 97?

Anyway send you the updated one with the tire change.

Everything else looks good.

Maybe it just didn't load good.

I have to give thanks to everyone that has helped me out here. Certainly Bryan (pcmforless) and Ion (Madwolf) deserve thanks for helping me get out of this situation. I don't know what went wrong with everything, but when I have the program installed on the pcm that is it for me on the tuning side until the heads/cam next year. Hopefully by then I will know more of what to do.

Thanks,
Chris

BTW, there was nothing wrong with the VIN. It is just how the program loads.
