I run datamaster on XP just fine. The problem is your laptop and xp...

Here are the requirements for XP to run properly:
*PC with 300 megahertz (MHz) or higher processor clock speed recommended; 233-MHz minimum required; Intel Pentium/Celeron family, AMD K6/Athlon/Duron family, or compatible processor recommended
*128 megabytes (MB) of RAM or higher recommended (64 MB minimum supported; may limit performance and some features)
*1.5 gigabyte (GB) of available hard disk space.

As you can see your laptop falls short on processor and barely covers the minimum on memory.

If I were you I'd load up Win98se on there and you'd be better off...

I didnt see where it was under any of those requirements, but I do agree that win 98 would be much better just wanted a little input first. Thanks
