would using a HPP with a cammed car work?

Has anyone out there done this?

I'm planning on doing a gear swap to make my 6-speed swap easier. I'm also planning on ditching the stock cam for either a CC305 or 503 cam, and was wondering if the hypertech programming would work with a cammed '94 Z28, or if it works with just stock vehicles. As I said before, I also plan on changing other parameters, and eliminating the automatic.

Car has:
K&N CAI
gutted MAF
TB airfoil
MSD plugwires and new plugs
BBK headers and borla catback

and I want to add:
hypertech power programmer
cc305 and new springs

anybody? Thanks!
