Worth It?

I'm having my car dyno tuned in a few weeks and I was wondering if it was worth buying tuner cat for this purpose? My other option would to be to pay the performance shop $300 for a LT1 edit license that I could not take home. If I did buy tuner cat I wouldn't personally use it a lot except maybe play around with shift points and minor stuff like that?

Tunercat is well worth the money even if you're not going to do anything at all but play with it for a couple of years.
