Worn exhaust valves cause false rich?
As a motor wears, typically the exhaust valves and seats begin to leak. This can be more pronounced at low rpm, and cause a loss of compression at low rpm.
Would the extra unburnt air/fuel mixture that is leaking past the exhaust valves cause the 02's to report a false rich condition, and therefore the PCM will lean the mixture to compensate?
