i got a 396 lt1 with 13.6:1 compression and a max evil trans. my problem is it wont shift at wot i have a 3k stall and its a 94 so its obd1. the trans is new with 50 miles on it and its not a linkege problem.

 

the shifts are computer controlled so linkage wouldnt be an issue. However some pro tranny builders convert there trannys to use a VACUUM MODULATOR to help control the shifting. Did you have your PCM tuned for the stall converter???

We Need a little more information then what you gave. It might help us HELP YOU.

 

yes i had pcm for less do the tune but now am getting lt1 edit. anymore questions let me know. i dont think they added a vacume modulator

 

could be the dreded obd1 stall problem

yeah he said he would have to see the car in person to fix it

he said he could come down to my dyno place and tune it on there but i dont have enough lt1 guys around here to get it done. no big deal kenedys in buffalo is gonna do it i want make sure it can be fixed
