Will my cable work with obd II?
I have a cable I bought from it has rs232 and aldl on it...It has a serial hook up for the computer but the other side has 4 wires, I used it on my 95 Z OBDI. To me seems like it should work just have to plug the wires into the correct ports?

Im pretty sure it wont work. Dont ask me why but I just remember this reading somethign somewhere.

well it says aldl, shouldnt you just have to hook up the ground and the data port? Here are some pics of it

ALL of the AKM cables are for GM OBDI computers from approx. 1986 to 1995. They do NOT work on any true OBDII system, even though some use an OBDII *style* connector.
