will this adapter work?

My laptop doesn't have a serial port. Will this one work for tunercat? ?I already have a cable. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....2&type=product

FWIW, the Belkin F5U103 is used by most people.

I bought a keyspan adapter from compusa for $49.99. Works perfectly and lets you select which comport you want to use it on.

Go to ebay and search for the eiger labs PCMCIA Serial card.. It should run you about 50 shipped and it works a lot better and a lot faster than the usb/serial.. have them both...

FYI, the IOGEAR USB adapter shown in the link to best buy does NOT work to connect to PCM's. I've tried them!
