The original DIY-WB www.diy-wb.com

I've got a couple of these in operation, works great!

Well the only problem with that is the sensor you have to use with it now goes for over $300 when I checked a couple of weeks ago. Otherwise I'd definitely build one.

Check with NAPA, last time I bought one it was $125 or so. PN is OS791.

Seems they caught on!

There's kind of a story behind this. These 02 Sensors are OE for an obscure California-only Honda Civic (see- Rice is good for something!). Back when the DIY-WB was first made public, we were doing parts searching to find the best price on sensors. NAPA had quite a few in a warehouse for some reason, when I mentioned it to a few people they were gone in a few days. Since then, the market has fluctuated quite a bit, for a while they were back up in the $500 range. There was an SHO Ford guy on ebay selling them for $150 a year or so ago. Not sure if he's still doing that.

They seem to be a very robust sensor. I'm still using my original sensor, and use it quite a bit. If I've got a passenger, I've been known to hook it, the Tech1 and the Romulator up for road trips. Gives the passenger some entertainment!

Do you think it would be possible to adapt the DIY-WB design to a different sensor? Like the Bosch LSU4 sensor that you can get for around $40?
