Wide band o2 sensor kits

I have seen some at machv.com and one other place I cannot remember off hand but is there a particular one that is better or anyone prefers for any reason? Just trying to make the most out of the software I have without running up on a dyno all the time and so I can tune my open loop program more accurately....

These 2 pages should help you in your quest.

The dyno that I went to had a sensor that looked like a stick, that they stuck up into my exhaust instead of a regular looking O2 sensor.

I'd want something of this nature so I could use it on all of my cars and not have to put O2 bungs on everything that I work on.

Of course, I'l probably have to dump the checking account to do so.

What do yall think?

Thanks

www.innovatemotorsports.com has what you want. But I think you said that you already had one!

Tech Edge (wbo2.com) has a DIY kit which comes to around $160 U.S. last I checked (they're in Australia), plus the sensor will be around $40. Looks like it requires a fair amount of soldering. That's the one I'm thinking of getting. Here's another one that looks interesting:

I bought the Innovate wideband from Taffy and couldn't be happier.
I also bought the optional exhaust clamp that allows me to use it on all of the "other" cars that I tune. Works like a champ.

Now this is sort of confusing me, but on the accesories page of the innovative one the first item on the list, does that somehow log the rpm along side the afr? That would be helpful...

Glad ya liked it! Everyone so far has liked this kit. The only way they could make it better is to give it away!

If you get just the LM-1 kit, you can only datalog the Wide Band AFR. This is logged internally in the box for up to 44 minutes. You then download the info to your computer via the supplied software for reading.

If you get the RPM Cable (Aux Input #2), you can now datalog the RPM and 5 other inputs. You cna datalog all the inputs (total of 7) and compare them on the Software. I suggest to get the RPM Cable so that you can reference the RPM to the AFR when datalogging.

You can log MAP with the RPM cable (Aux #2), but you need to supply the MAP sensor.

Innovate is releasing the AUX #3 cable that logs MAP. MAP is included in the cable.
