What tuning program should I get?
Spend a few nights reading the LT1edit archive list, LOTS of info.
GENERALLY you can add timing at low and mid range 2-3 degrees, and pull timing at the top 1-2 degrees. Use your logging software to get the ve tables right, your shooting for long term fuel trims of 128 in all cells. VEmaster really helps with this. Get your fans, injectors, gears, shift points and all the other bs set. Then go to a dyno for PE tuning. You need to have a wideband sensor for wot tuning. There are a lot of .bin's and.lt1 tune files on the web, d/l them and look at them, but just cause there on the web doesn't make them a good tune. You can buy a base tune from pcmsforless and work from there, that is a good starting point.
