What is the formula?

With all of the variables and sensors to monitor, what is the final formula the PCM uses when determining timing and injector pulse? That's all that really gets modified, yet there are a gazillion imputs and variables to modify only two real outputs: Timing and Fuel.

This is my make-believe example: (RPM*60 / Pulse width*PE ) / WOT % + (IAT * MAF GMS) -1 / (Injector Voltage/ Injector constant) + (Knock retard * RPM/1000 * Cubic Engine Size/1000)

Re: What is the formula?

Ultra dog you make it seem so simple, if it was then nobody would have tuning issues, the whole key to a performance car has always been, and always will be tuning those two simple things, all the timing advance and all the fuel you can burn until you find the integrity of the engine. but one simple formula,, I dont know about that.??
