What exactly is done to an OBD1 computer to make it work in an OBD2 car?
i think he does a resister mod in the pcm so you dont have to change out your knock sensor
but it is that easy, get another used obd1 pcm, plug it in, change your knock sensor to one from an obd1 car, then just tune the pcm like any other obd1 car
whole conversion with new knock sensor should cost less than $100(used ecm and knock sensor), if you have tunercats so you can tune when done
.

There's some info on the resistor mod in this thread if you want to go that route.
