What does Hypertech tuning do actually?

I have used it for my fans and gears in the past. I got the unit for free. My question is what does the power tune effect? Does it lean it out? Timing? I don't have a dyno to test before and after, and I am not going to do a full tune until the engine goes in later this year. I figured I might as well use it since I have it.

Thanks
Sean

I looked at that one time and they lean it out mostly in the higher rpms. I dont think they did much, if anything to the timing. Not sure if anything has changed since then.

pretty sure it just leans out your a/f.

personally if the car is stock i wouldn't foresee a problem but once you start messing with the motor, especially internally, id ditch that thing asap and get a real tune. oh and fear and loathing= the **** haha

I thought they stopped the car from rolling forward when you jacked up the rear.
