I'm trying to find information on a VSS Buffer from a Digital Dash Camaro. From what I understand these also came in the Cadillac Cimmerons. I don't know what year or anything like that. I tried doing a search through google and some other places with no luck. So I figured I would give the message boards a shot...
I've recently rewired my car using a Haltech E6K computer and the VSS from my car doesn't work with the Haltech input. I was referred by someone who used this VSS buffer to allow the input to work so I could actually have a speedometer/odometer...my gas mileage stats aren't going to do me much good when it’s stuck at 230,926.1 for 150+ miles or so....this isn't an F-body BTW, it’s the other car. The Trans-Am doesn't have any computer controls, just about 15 years before that time came....
If anyone can help me out on what this is, where I can locate one *GM Part Number?* I would greatly appreciate it.
