Tuning Noob ??????

I am getting ready to have my car tuned by one of the two sponsors on this board. I tried to email Ion but with how busy he is I haven't recieved a reply yet. I wanted to know, if I do the "email package" do they give me the software to download to my PCM or do I have to purchase tunercat, LT1edit, etc. first? I already know that I have to get a cable but if I also have to have the software I will probably just pull my PCM out.

Shaun,
you don't have to have lt1_edit or any other software to get the email
tuning. I don't need a datalog to do a tune on it. If it doesn't work the
way you expect it after the tune, then a datalog might help.

Sorry Ion. I never got it. I read on here that you get busy enough sometimes that it takes you a while to reply. So thats what I figured what happened. Thanks for your response. I will be talking with you again shortly.
