tuning for new injectors

A few weeks ago I swapped a set of Accel 36 #/hr injectors for the stockers. I was anticipating that I wouldn't need to change anything more than the injector constant (using Tunercat), however after setting that to 36, my BLs have gone through the roof (up to 140-150) and seem to jump around alot. Setting the constant to 33 has brought them down to where some CELs show BLs around 128 but others still jump up to around 130-140.

Is this more involved than I think? This is a fairly stock engine. Should I need to be messing with injector offsets?

Do a search and you should find the answer. You have to set the constant close to what the injector rating would be at the fuel pressure setting. The accell setting for making them 36# maybe different from the 42.5 psi we use. Read this and maybe it will help in figuring it out.

I understand all that... what little info (none I would trust wholeheartedly) I can find on Accel injectors suggests that they may be rated at 39psi - which would cause them to have an apparently larger #/hr rating at stock fuel pressure of 42.5psi, right? This doesn't explain why I'm having to lower the injector constant in my tune, unless my fuel pressure is actually lower than the Accels' test pressure.
I know, I'm working on getting a pressure gauge to test that...

bump bump

Nobody has tuned for these injectors, or experienced anything similar...?

Seems like they are 30# not 36s, If running them at 33 made it less lean. Try 31.5 and see how they run. Thats around the setting we use for bosch type 30# injectors.

That's what I would think, except the packaging was for 36#/hr injectors. And if that's not proof enough, the actual injectors were stamped with the number 36
