Tunerpro RT V5 Tutorial

Re: Tunerpro RT V5 Tutorial
Its been awhile since i have had to mess with a stock lt1, but i just bought a 97 ram air and i need to work on the tune. I stumbled across this thread looking for tuning info.
What is the big advantage of using this software VS Tuner Cat/ Data Master and VE Master??
It looks like you have a data logger and a tuner all in one from what i just read, but with VE Master it uses Datamaster's log file to remap your VE tables for a spot on drive ability tune. Will this new software self correct the VE tables for you? I'm always looking for something new and better, i'm actually considering a 24X system because i'm tired of the opti bs, thus why i have Jessel belt drive on the race car.

Re: Tunerpro RT V5 Tutorial
Gregrob, I pm-ed you about an issue I'm having with TunerPro. I followed this sticky to a TEE, but for some reason I can only get engine data and can't pull any codes. I know there should at least be a code for my frozen air pump, why do you think that's not even showing up?

Re: Tunerpro RT V5 Tutorial
Wondering if any of you guys have gotten the Aquition part of this to display correct data? Mine is glitchy/jumps from data up then back in a split second. Mark at TP made a change in the ADX but still the same?

Re: Tunerpro RT V5 Tutorial
I noticed the same glitchy/jumping when I tried data logging.
Also for those who said WinFlash wasn't working for them on Windows 7 - make sure you right click the WinFlash installation, select properties from the menu, then in the properties window select the Compatability tab and change it to Windows XP (I used SP2, not sure if SP3 compatibility works). I also ran the program as an Administrator. One of those two, or both, resulted in WinFlash fully installing. I repeated the steps for the actual .exe file and was able to upload a stock tune to a PCM so I can confirm it works in Win7.
