tuner cat questions! give me a hand guys and gals!

ok here is the deal, i have a 95 lt1 with a 95 pcm in a rx7 convertable. now i just changed it over from auto to manual. i want to keep everything the same, vats off and all that good stuff. all i want to do is change my tranny and be able to calibrate my speedo since it is digital. now i did some searching around and i found that i can download the files on the pcm and edit it from there. just not sure where i need to go to change it from auto to manual. anyone want to give me a hand here

Try turning off all of the Trans Diag and Temp switches in the "Switches" menu and drive the car and see how it runs.

On my 3rd gen, there is a switch in the "switch" menu to select Manual Trans, I just didn't see one in the LT1 bin.

I would start with a fresh M6 PCM flash. I can email you a stock 95M6 flash if you want. Then you could copy any tables from your current tune, and turn on or off the stuff that you want.

The reason I say this is becuase I accidentally loaded a stock A4 flash into my M6 car and couldn't shift into reverse. I've read that the M6 and A4 flashes are interchangeable, but they aren't. Reflashed to a stock M6 tune, and all was fine.

Make sure the key is in the on position and that the correct port is chosen on the computer. I have to manually tell the laptop to chose port 3 for my USB connection to my PCM. Every laptop is different. It is a drop down item to choose in the tuning or logging software. That could be it.

Probably good enough to help you with anything you need regarding the tune. I use LT1 edit and can convert the file to Tunercat form for you to load.

If you get me the flash from your PCM, I can take a look at it and transfer any changes to a stock M6 flash and make sure you are starting with the correct base flash. ('95 M6)
