Question TPS%vsVoltage

Trying to locate a full throttle shift problem that rectifies itself after shutting the engine down then restarting it,I discovered that the TPS% scale runs smothly up to 100% then hits 4% and remains there untill the engine restarts?,TPS signal voltage seams to be normal even when stuck at 4%(no wonder I'v got full throttle shift problems),I've already replaced the TPS sensor but this did not help,I was wondering if this a programing issue or what?.

Check the wiring harness, if that looks good, try a different pcm or a reflash of the one you have. I'll bet it's a bad pcm.

Already tried a different pcm but w/a different tune!,sure beats the hell out of me,why? after reaching 100% the tps hits 4% and stays stuck untill a restart, the unusual thing is volatage signal from the tps works normaly even at the 4%stuck level, unusual right???.

So...after whatever datalogger you're using says 100% TPS and TPS voltage is reading correct for WOT (4.5 or whatever)....it then just magically drops and sticks at 4% even though the voltage is OK?
I don't think it's possible that it's a programming issue...not sure how programming would affect that.
I would think that as long as the voltage is OK that it's not really a TPS problem either. I don't think the computer uses a value for TPS%...that's what the voltage signal is for. The TPS% is just so your datalogger can show you how far the throttle is open.

How are you logging data, or what scan tool are you useing. It could be a lodding issue. Strange deal, if tps v changes, then % readig should chamge.
