T56 is out TH400 is now in!

Well I yanked my t56 and put in a th400 with TBrake. I never got a full pass with the t56 in the car always breaking something.

I have two qeustions

How do I get the spedometer working with my TH400?

How did you guys route your cooler lines? I have the canton pan with kickouts so I know I will have to get pretty creative with the cooler lines just hoping for some advice and maybe even PICS.

Thanks

Jeff

I just bought a 94 Z with a TH400 in it and I made some inquiries into what was needed to get my speedo working. One reply I got was from Martel Brothers. Here's what Frank wrote:

"Mark,

ATI does not offer a kit to accomplish what you need. They have heard of some customers using the following items to hook up a speedo on the late model applications.

1. Replace the speedo gear with the steel reluctor from a 4L80E transmission

2. Use the VSS sender from a 1990 Chevy pickup

I checked with some other manufacturers and they also do not offer any kit to accomplish this.

One option would be to use an Autometer programmable electronic speedometer and sender."

There's also info here:

Good luck.
