I have a 96 Corvette LT4 with some bolt ons (Full exhaust, K&N)...
Im converting it to OBD1...
The OBD1 computer has a Stock LT1 tune...
I can flash my new OBD1 PCM with Tunercat...
I cant not see what the maps on the LT4 OBD2 PCM, as I have no tuning programs for OBD2... (if I did I would simply use those values to tune the OBD1 PCM...
I would like to see if anyone has a LT4 running OBD1...
If you do, or have a setup similiar, could you send me the file?

Thanks

Well, you can't flash an OBD-I tune to an OBD-II computer. How are you going to overcome that?

Oops, I meant the opposite. You can't flash OBD-II > I. The LT4 tune will be OBD-II. So, how are you going to do that, again?

As they tried to tell you - no such thing exists.

Just start with a 94-95 LT1 vette bin.

p.s. the place to find vette bins is not on an F-body site...

If you were to get an OBD2 LT4 file, could you not compare it to an OBD1 LT1 file and make the timing, fuel, and other adjustments, to make it as close or equal to the LT4 as possible?

I would like to see exactly what changes GM made to the tune on the LT4 as well since it is 'basically' a 4-bolt, heads/intake + 1.6RR LT1.

Thats exactly what Im looking for. Im sure someone has converted OBD2>OBD1 with an LT4.

btw, Im well aware that an OBD2 tune can not be flashed to a OBD1 PCM.

just checking to see if anyone has a base tune I could start with.

Sure, you could compare the files using the software that each would need to look at it. Manually looking at the files and copying data one to another. Your original question was about flashing, though.
