Still getting knock at 5krpm...

Hey all.. I was helping a friend tune his car tonite on his new Dynapak dyno...

Well.. Needless to say, his dyno is BADASS!!! That thing rocks! But his car kept showing knock at ~5k. Whats funny though is that it is showing up on some runs (usually when the car was cooler, go figure) and on other runs, knock was totally non-existenet. We were able to extract another 7rwhp from his car tonite, but it had a consistent dip.. We got is AFR right on the money at 13:1, and max advance through the runs at WOT was right around 39, except for the 4800-5200 mark where I pulled a couple degrees and added some fuel to help stave off that knock.

Is anyone willing to take a look at the datamaster file and give any advice for this dip in power and knock? Its baffling us and we are still learning, but we know the basics.

The car is a 95 M6 Camaro with a stock motor with intake, headers and flowmaster cat back. We have been using Tunercat to tune the PCM.

Any help is much appreciated.. The datamaster file can be found HERE

The file is a tad long because I just kept apending to the first run, but you can clearly see knock on like half of the runs and almost always at ~5k. I can't seem to figure it out..

Thanks in advance for the help! You can reach me on aim at mad85z28 if you want to talk more.

Well if you know it's false knock have you tried adjusting the max knock at WOT table in the PCM???
