Should I be real rich during excel?

Just atarted working with a A/F gauge. Car is a LT1 - 383W/SC-2 Bar Map. What A/F is normal when accelerating? When crusing at 2,000 RPMs A/F is good, but when I accel ( not mashing the gas ) but going from 10% to 20% throttle I see A/F ratios in the 9's until the RPMs level off. Is that normal?

N/A cars you want around 12.7-13 under wot. Forced induction you want around 11.8-12.2 under boost, 9:1 is way to rich. At like 20% throttle, since it's not making power, you probably want around 13.
