Shift point question

The car is going to the shop next week. While it's there for a few things I need to have the 2-3 shift dropped a touch. When it comes to doing something like that, what would be the next step down? Right now it shifts at 6300 and I have no idea how big the increments are. So shout out if you happen to know, I'm hoping they can bring it down a 100 to a 150 rpm. Thanks, Rick.

You can have it set to whatever you want no steps

Thanks, I didn't know that. I thought it had something to do with cells or whatever you call them.
If you had to make a guess, how much would you drop a shift point if the car lags for a millisecond between shifts? It's hardly noticeable but every litttle bit counts, when trying to find the optimum set-up.

I'd try 100 less. I think you're just masking a trans issue though.

Could be, I guess I'll see if the change makes any difference on how the 2-3 shift feels. The stock trans isn't going to last forever and I don't expect it to. Thanks again.
