Shift firmess value #
I'm not sure which table you mean. Mines adjusted from the shift pressure vs. %TPS vs. 0-64 and 65 and over tables. Raising the number there will raise the line pressure. I'd recommend small changes here. The only reason I adjusted was to get some of my "shift feel" back after I went to a higher stall converter.
This is the same table I am working on, I only changed the table on the higher end of the tps. I also only change each press by only a few lbs. for example if one was set a 60 I changed it to 65. It shifts firmer when I have my foot in the gas.
What is the difference for normal mode to performance mode? As well as how do you change between the two?

The way I understand, some Trans-Ams had a performance shift button on the console that would switch the PCM between the normal mode and performance mode tables. As far as I know, a Z is always in normal mode unless you do something like this http://home.tampabay.rr.com/jayz28/tranperformance.htm Hope this helps.
